This Privacy Policy applies to the Dreama mobile application (the "App"), developed by Borombo ("we", "us", or the "Service Provider") and made available as a Freemium service. By using Dreama, you consent to the practices described below.
What we collect
Dreama collects only what's needed to provide dream journaling and interpretation:
- Dream entries — text you type or voice recordings you submit, along with any AI-generated transcriptions, interpretations, and symbol analyses.
- Account information — if you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email per Apple's Sign in with Apple flow.
- Subscription status — managed through the App Store and synced via RevenueCat.
- Device & usage diagnostics — device type, OS version, anonymous device identifier, IP, and how you interact with the App. This helps us fix bugs and improve features.
- Approximate location — derived from network data only. We do not track precise GPS location.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't share the content of your dreams with advertisers or third parties beyond what's strictly required to operate the App.
- We don't use your dreams to train public or third-party AI models.
- We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we've received such data, we delete it promptly.
Third-party services
Dreama uses a small set of trusted third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Firebase (Google) — Analytics & Crashlytics
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Amplitude — product analytics
- RevenueCat — subscription management
We may also disclose information when required by law (e.g. a subpoena), or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Data retention
We retain user-provided data for as long as you use Dreama and for a reasonable period thereafter. We retain automatically-collected diagnostic data for up to 24 months, after which it may be stored only in aggregate form. To request deletion of your dream entries or account, email contact@borombo.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Your control
You can stop all collection by uninstalling the App. You can also request export or deletion of your journal at any time. Account deletion is irreversible.
Security
We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the data we process. Access is limited to authorized personnel who need it to operate or improve Dreama. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page; continued use of Dreama after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
